With the park closed for Monday - Wednesday of this week, many have been asking the big question...why? What is Hard Rock Park doing behind the gates?
Well, we can tell you that it's exactly as stated. Things are begin fine tuned. Speakers are being tweaked, additional signs are going up and little details are being put in place.
You'll notice on the website, the webcam is inactive with a message reading "Construction is now over and we are relocating our webcam to a permenant home."
Also, we are able to say that last week, construction began on Phonehenge in British Invasion and new fences around the lagoon over in Cool Country were being erected.
Come Friday, when guests visit the park you'll see minor changes around the entire park. I'm happy to say that everything is coming along nicely as we close in on the Grand Opening on June 2nd.
We'll be posting a series of photos from aroudn the park sometime tomorrow.

I do not have an answer for that.
As far as tweaks are concerned, I'm happy to report on all the updates around the park. Guests will notice new signs everywhere called "Riff Notes". These "Notes" give little details about the music world. It's a pretty cool little addition.
Also, there is a new little area next to the Amphitheather, which I think is some sort of Shag Dance stage.
There's a new fence around Maximum RPM! (yes, it's almost ready).
At Nights in White Satin, there are a couple of new 3-D effects. They may have been in place already, I'm not sure, but I just noticed them today.
There's been some touch up painting on Magic Mushroom Garden and several other attractions.
Irie Kids Kiosk is open and there is a new carnival game in front of it.

Hey, Rodney! As you may have read, I'm always there. So let me know when you're coming and I'll be happy to swing by and say hello. Maybe even ride a coaster or two!
And that game is a ring toss over bottles game I believe.
