Hard Rock Park has launched a new version of their website. While keeping the same theme and design, the site is filled with new content like attraction information, guest services info, groups sales content, ticket layouts and more.
A key feature to take note of are the new Hours & Intinerary category which not only displays the same calendar and park hours, but allows the visitors to choose a date range and see everything that is going on in the park. The calendar is being updated with the original content and all new content as well. So if anyone notices a lack of shows and performers, fear not as the content is being re-added to the new system.
Another new section which appears to be in development is a new Annual Passholder section which will offer exclusive content to passholders.
There are plenty more little bits around the site and content should be going on almost daily at this point. there is even a new WHAT's NEW section to tell visitors what's been added to the site.
The reworking of the website has been been in development for about two months and new content was gathered and made available.
New features not displayed will be coming online as well.

If you wouldn't have told me there was an update to the site, I wouldn't have noticed. I do like that that flash intro has finally been removed, that was a skip, everytime I went to the site. Where did the webcam go? The itinerary feautre is as neat. What took two months to do on the site? Just curious.
Why are restaurants and shops listed as attractions? I wouldn't really consider them attractions.

Can't wait for podcast. I notice they do not have that "teaser video" for Nights In White Satin anymore so I wonder if somebody told them about Truth in Advertising laws. Meanwhile, I wonder - do the ride operators have costumes? I was really disappointed at Kennywood when at Ghostwood Estate the ride operator was wearing shorts and a T shirt, it just clashed with the theming. I know HRP had an opening for a costume manager on their careers page so maybe I will see themed costumes? Now see, I didn't say a word about trackless, animatronics, or underwater videos!

The new site is a work in progress. Things that were there before and gone now don't necessarily mean they're gone for good. We putting A LOT of things on the website. Over time, things you probably won't see anywhere else. I only started at HRP three months ago and started a revamp of the site less than two months ago. I'm very proud of what we've got not and looking to push it much further.
So I stand by the other thread that says get "your" ideas for the site in.
