This morning, former Hard Rock Park employees showed up to reapply for available positions. While doors were supposed to open at 9am, applicants were able to get an earlier start. Many had to wait in the cold as the recruitment center could not hold everyone who waited, but the line moved quickly. By 9am, at least 100 people had already shown up to reapply.
Many people got to see for co-workers and friends for the first time since losing the jobs last year. There were many smiles and hugs as people caught up on the latest news.
"Its like a family reunion", said one woman.
Various departments were covered from F&B, Merchandising, Front Desk, and general park operators.
The general tone of those applying was very positive. Applicants were told it should be about 3 weeks before they hear anything.

Yes and i was one of those that showed up early. By 7:30 my husband and neighbor were already there only to see just a handful at that time. As the minutes went on more and more came into the parking lot. It was a grand feeling to see all these wonderful people. Now it is a waiting game to see if all this paid off.

From what I hear, there were about 700 applicants who either showed up or applied online.
