Until the national economy turns around, until America starts putting AMERICANS back to work and stops sending jobs overseas, until business owners stop taking HUGE bonuses for themselves and start reinvesting in their companies and keeping their employees happy, only then will thigns turn around.
And I'm not talking just for HARD ROCK - I'm talking nationally. If people don't have jobs to pay their bills and put food on their tables, then they certainly aren't going to be able to afford spending money on luxuries and extras like amusement parks.

As we have learned this week, Six Flags may be on the verge of Chapter 11, despite a good turn around in 2008.

I see Cedar Fair is trying to sell a few parks. I still think 2009 will be better for HRP than 2008 was. If ticket prices stay down, they'll be ok. There doesn't seem to be quite enough to hold my interest in the park yet, so I'll skip it again this year. Cheers!
