The Hard Rock Park website has been removed and replaced with a Splash Page saying REOPENING 2009. We assume this is due to the recent court ruling with HRP Creative. Since the website contained trademarked and licensed material owned by HRP Creative, the move is probably to avoid any infringement and to avoid any compensation.
The most interesting part is the contact email address which is an @hardrock.com address rather than a @hardrockpark.com address. hey is no official word whether the park will keep the Hard Rock name or replace it. The domain name is owned by Hard Rock International in Orlando, Florida, not the park itself.
More to come...

Haha! We've heard some interesting things, but we're not ready to report on them just yet, Kirk. When we can confirm more, we'll be sure to post it. Rumors suck. We did post a RUMOR REPORT, but we classified it as such. I'd like to avoid that in the future. Is your head been ready to explode with anticipation?

* UPDATE * 6:53pm
The theme park will not be keeping the Hard Rock name. It has been announced that a decision could not be reached.
Earlier today, the former Hard Rock Park website, which was taken down earlier this week and replaced by a splash page, is now pointed directly to the "Official" Hard Rock website. The entire presence of Hard Rock Park has been removed from the domain, which does not spell good news for fans hoping the Hard Rock name would remain attached to the park.
With just under 50 days until the park is to open.
