Vacationers’ Valued at The Horizon at 77th!
By Staff Writer

Few places offer vacationers an unobstructed opportunity to experience a beach environment, right in the heart of Myrtle Beach — that is, until now! New for 2008, The Horizon at 77th lies conveniently within Myrtle Beach, but also just a few feet away from the ocean. Everything that guests want to do on vacation — shopping, night-life, golf course, entertainment, and restaurants — can be found easily nearby, without sacrificing the tranquility of this oasis-like oceanview setting!

Discover The Horizon and what its location and amenities can add to your vacation. Horizon focuses on serenity, superb customer service, and upscale furnishings. Other amenities include a great restaurant and ample covered parking. Guests do indeed come first here!

From the point of arrival, guests notice the difference in this vacation site versus others. Following an easy check-in process, they enter their condos and open the drapes of their picture-windows to reveal mesmerizing views of the Atlantic Ocean. Once they pull their eyes off the hypnotic waves leading to the distant horizon, they settle into their place by the sea. Expressions of satisfaction come from noticing the fine details of quality — the spacious floor plan, ample closet and storage space, cleanliness, fully-stocked kitchen. Later, as they wander down to the pool for sun-bathing and leisurely beverages, they find their hardest decision is whether to lie in the hot tub or the lazy river. Early evening sunsets have been known to cause a stir at Horizon, with total strangers forming friendships with each other through conversations about with the sun’s gold and crimson rays splashing from wave to wave. By the evening of their first day here, guests have shed most of their stress.

Nothing quite says “come on down” like hearing a first-hand account. Here is what previous visitors to Horizon, Mr. and Mrs. B. Johnson, wrote in their email dated January 3, 2009,

I would recommend this hotel to anyone with a big family. It has a nice big kitchen that was stocked with plenty of dishes and pots and pans. It has multiple closets to put your clothes and baggage. It was clean and the best deal we have ever booked when you need 3 bedrooms due to a large gathering. Hope to return soon.

The Horizon’s manager Debbie Braden loves hearing people’s comments. Says Debbie, “Some of our guests want to escape winter, to reconnect with each other, and to cast off some of the stresses of their real lives. No matter why they vacation here, people find that staying at Horizon gives them the break that they crave.”

The Horizon at 77th offers one, two, and three-bedroom condominium units, making it the perfect destination for honeymooners or retirees. Horizon adds a “wow” factor to vacationing -- granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, top-of-the-line furniture, indoor and outdoor pools, lazy river, quiet roof top sun deck, a uniquely elevated water recreation plaza 40 feet above ground, and, of course, the beach.

If anyone has taken the time to notice, The Horizon offers no oceanfront rooms. The oceanview rooms don't have much of an oceanview seeing as how the resort is at least half a block from the beach and has The Grande Shores on the south side blocking your sight. Just my thoughts.

Yes, you have to be fast to beat phroggy, grasshopper. Thanks for the compliments on the site. We'll see what we can do about that Mayor issue come November.

I am not impressed at all with the Horizon. After looking at the pics and reading reviews I realized that the pool only gets sun in the morning. So if you are a pool lounger like me dont plan on getting a tan there! JMHO
